Stretch Marks

Stretch marks can come on suddenly during a period of rapid weight gain, such as a growth spurt or most commonly, during pregnancy. Genetics play a role, as does the amount of abdominal distention during a pregnancy, which is greater in twin pregnancies, pregnancies complicated by excessive amniotic fluid and excessive weight gain. Stretch marks will lighten and fade somewhat following the pregnancy. Applying Stratamark ointment during the pregnancy and Sublative skin retexturing treatments after pregnancy can help.
